seed libraries at food banks

Maple Valley Food Bank and Emergency Services generously piloted our first Seed Library in March 2023 to huge success. Together we distributed thousands of seed packets spanning dozens of food (and flower) types as well as garden supplies and soils donated by the community. In winter 2023 we launched a new Seed Library Program through our member food banks through a partnership with Harvest Against Hunger. Our intention is for this to be an open-source project that you can replicate in your community too! Check back here in the future for links to our materials and resources as we make them available.
